How to Set XP as Default OS in Windows Vista
When you install Windows Vista on a Dual boot with XP,by default Vista is set as default OS.But you want to change this and set XP as the default OS on your system then there is a command you can run which will do the work for you...First you'll have to open an administrator command prompt. You can do this by typing CMD into the search box,the search result is displayed up just right click on it and "Run as administrator" or you can just type CMD in search and then hit Ctrl+Shift + Enter to open it in administrator mode.

Enter in the following command:
bcdedit /default {ntldr}
Example:
C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /default {ntldr}
The operation completed successfully.
Now when you reboot, it will set XP as the default.
