Disk Cleanup Time

After about months of using my laptop with Windows Vista installed, I have accumulated tons of programs, dozens of error dumps, and hundreds of sites cached in my temporary internet folder. I decided to do a Disk Cleanup and my 120 GB HDD was nearing it capacity. after running the Disk Cleanup I managed to free up about 12GB of precious disk space.
So to start with the process we go and click to the Start Orb and type Disk Cleanup. It would prompt on which drive you would want to cleanup so pick the appropriate one, and click ok. Now you can opt to clear all of it and or leave out the offline internet files, so you can still have your bookmarked sites.

And for another tip you can click on the More Options Tab you have an option there to remove so of the programs and features that you don’t need. And also you clear your restore points delete the previous once and leave only the most recent Restore point.

After using the Windows Vista Disk Cleanup wizard  yo may also have to go to your temp folder and delete the rest of it. Type %TEMP% into the start menu search box, and hit enter. You’ll immediate be taken to the temporary files folder, and so you can pick and delete what ever you like.
