3rd Carnival of Computer Help and Advice

The 3rd Carnival of Computer Help and Advice will probably be a couple of days late this month (it is due to be published on the 27th March). This is due to me having been ill for the last few days, and so I haven't had chance to pass the Carnival on to this month's host Prashanth.

Apologies for the delay.

Adobe’s Shockwave Updated to Support Vista

ShockwaveWhere Adobe Shockwave Version 10 did not officially support Microsoft Windows Vista, Version 11, released yesterday, now does. Though many were able to use the previous version, 64-bit users especially found many issues trying to get it to run properly, or at all. The updated version will work with Internet Explorer 7, as well as Firefox 2.0, and I’ll be installing it on my 64-bit system later today, to confirm it works there.

Many people confuse Flash and Shockwave. Flash is a vector-based program designed to create and display small files on the web, and it accomplishes this by limiting the types of images and media that can be displayed. What does Shockwave do? Shockwave is a player for content created in Adobe’s Director platform, which can include “interactive content—that includes photo-quality images, full-screen or long-form digital video, sounds, animation, 3D models, text, hypertext, and Macromedia Flash content—and be able to control how and when these elements appear, move, sound, and change while the movie plays”.

Download Shockwave 11 now!

Top commentator ever will have a constant link

This is my first contest! Top commentator ever will have a constant link in the top bar of my blog. But also I'll make a review about his blog.
How to become the top commentator: Simply comment my posts, you can post question, play jokes or tell about additional information.
When the contest will end?
In the end of the next month (30 April), I'll end the contest and give the top commentator this small price.
What do you wait, start commenting now. There's already Jason, that is getting the first place with 16 comments!
Don't worry, if you put every day 2 comments only, you'll easily get 65 one at the end of the contest and then (probably) you'll be the winner.

Google swallow double click

Google is a giant that continue devastating any thing that seems to be in his way.
After you tube, Blogger and writer it's time for Double Click!
It's strange but do you think that Google can continue this expansion.
In 2002 Google was 400 million$ only and now it's more than 13 billion$!
Do you think that Google may loose all its power in short time (break down)??
I wait your comments :)
